Forum: etree Subject: Re: Best Dead Wall of Sound Recording (to llisten to in headphones)????

This is a great subject. Such an emphasis on sound reinforcement. The "Wall Of Sound" must of been an experience in the flesh, but a couple years before my time.
As I grew older and became an employee of BGP I experienced so mind blowing reinforcement. My favorite being shows at the kaiser. You could place your skull against cement walls, open your eyes, and your vision would become blurred as Phil went to town. I would enjoy similar features from a recording. I found that "The Grateful Dead Movie" in 5.1 DDS is suppling the fix.
Any other suggestion out there ?
Will "Terrapin Station" feature a 21st century JBL wall or should support be focused in another direction ?
